I'm pretty sure my eyes glazed over when Super Mario Bros. Crossover first came to my attention. Oh, I could understand why the fan-made creation might appeal to some gamers, but it didn't appeal to me--at all.
Then I saw the following video, which highlights the impending inclusion of Blaster Master's Sophia the 3rd in this (seemingly) ever-evolving title. (He/she/it supposedly will be added to the game later this month.)

ReplyDeleteI played through a few stages with Link last night and had a blast. Can't wait to try some of the others this weekend!
This is my new favorite thing. Playing through SMB with the spread gun from Contra is AMAZING!

I was thinking the EXACT same thing as I drifted off to sleep last night!
ReplyDeleteSo far, I've gotten closest to the end with Samus...I made it all the way to Bowser in 8-4 and then died...repeatedly.
Oh, so it can be harder with some of these characters -- or would you have a hard time with Bowser in 8-4 regardless.
ReplyDeleteI haven't played that far into SMB in a looooooong time, BTW. I'm sure Bowser would smoke me no matter who I use!
