More bullets, more buff dudes, more ... butts?

I don't know how many of you are aware, but the English version of Sugar Shooter 2, the sequel to the bara-tastic, bullet-hell shoot 'em up that piqued my interest early last year, is now available for purchase via dudedlestudio.com.

If you've yet to see this sexy shmup in action, check out the completely-safe-for-work trailer that can be viewed here. Or, head over to the Sugar Shooter 2 page on the Dudedle Studio site.

Both Mac and Windows versions of the game can be purchased on the aforementioned page for $20, by the way.

If you're like me and you prefer to buy boxed copies of games, you may want to pick up the Japanese version of Sugar Shooter 2 instead. It can be bought via rainbow-shoppers.com for ¥2,480 (about $30). (Find it by clicking on "CD-ROM GAME" along the left-side of the site.)

Are you talking about the music, Alois? If so, yes, it is boppy and happy! Actually, the entire game is quite happy :)

I still have yet to try the demo! I hate to say that the price is a little more than I'd like to pay... I'm not a huge fan of playing games on my computer as it is. You're reviewing it, right Bryan? I'll wait and see what you have to say :)

I was a bit shocked by the $20 asking price, too, Anne. I thought it would come in at $15, honestly--just like the original. Granted, this one is supposed to be a more full-fledged shooter (it has actual stages as opposed to only being a boss rush), so maybe that's why it's more expensive? Anyway, yes, I'll be reviewing it in the next few weeks, so be on the lookout for that :)
