Doesn't seem like the best idea to me, esp. if the folks at Sony want developers and players to use it.

Honestly, I think both MS and Sony should have held off on these peripherals until the next generation. I don't think they need them, and I don't think they're going to attract the 'casuals' they think they're going to attract. Really, I see these peripherals selling to a small portion of the existing PS3/360 userbase, and that's about it...Bryan Ochallahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16256591698209804728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20740650.post-12316431087445928632010-09-21T18:50:02.353-07:002010-09-21T18:50:02.353-07:00I was at Best Buy when it came out, and was confus...I was at Best Buy when it came out, and was confused. I saw a PS3 bundle that included the Move controller and the eyetoy (or whatever it's called now). But the navigator was sold separately. And based on your photo, the navigator isn't included in that either! So, will developers actually build games around that piece, or is it just a way to trick people into spending $30 dollars extra?Zigfriedhttp://www.unlimitedzigworks.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20740650.post-32960271157820963952010-09-21T10:18:24.123-07:002010-09-21T10:18:24.123-07:00I hear what you're saying, starfighter, though...I hear what you're saying, starfighter, though I think motion controls, when done well, can be nice. Also, pointer controls are wonderful -- hopefully more game devs will use them in the future, esp. in RPGs.

Thank you, by the way, for the nice comment about the blog -- and for adding it to bloglovin. Hopefully I can keep you interested in it going forward :)Bryan Ochallahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16256591698209804728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20740650.post-44391420939556241632010-09-21T09:38:43.471-07:002010-09-21T09:38:43.471-07:00I forgot it as well, but I really don't see th...I forgot it as well, but I really don't see the fun in that kind of controls. It'll also be interesting to see how Kinect sells. I have a feeling Kinect will be the more successful of the two, but I also think both will drop off a cliff sales-wise shortly after the holiday season.Bryan Ochallahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16256591698209804728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20740650.post-14920705476777213662010-09-20T19:05:43.265-07:002010-09-20T19:05:43.265-07:00Nope.
