Thanks for turning me on to this great party game with your post :) I'd definitely want to be a purist and play with just Famciom games, so I guess I'll have to wait until I get a few more :)Bryan Ochallahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16256591698209804728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20740650.post-51136531807641673772011-06-03T16:18:12.197-07:002011-06-03T16:18:12.197-07:00Cheers for the mention, Bryan!

Another variation would be to make someone who broke up a streak by failing to complete level 1 in a single try to do some sort of "punishment":) That would add another level of excitement to it.

If you are short on Famicom carts, you might try using a different console, though I think a "purist" would insist on Famicom carts:)

Definitely post pictures if you do it, I'd be very curious!!Seanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13681778110046124243noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20740650.post-22516815750094460492011-06-03T14:52:56.275-07:002011-06-03T14:52:56.275-07:00Yes, this would be a *great* addition to a Hallowe...Yes, this would be a *great* addition to a Halloween party!

As for the difficulty of this particular party game, I think it comes down to which games you choose. Personally, I wouldn't include a game like Spelunker if I were to play it, but I would include some moderately-difficult games -- just to make things interesting :)

Anyway, if you do give this a try at some point, let me know, will you? Also, let Sean at famicomblog know, if you can.Bryan Ochallahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16256591698209804728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20740650.post-40848068418427411552011-06-03T14:07:02.192-07:002011-06-03T14:07:02.192-07:00Especially with the costume additions, this would ...Especially with the costume additions, this would make an excellent Halloween party idea!

I'm going to have to try this, definitely. The concept seems like it wouldn't be TOO punishing since most "impossibly hard" Famicom/NES games aren't so bad on the first level, at least. I felt pretty bad for the person who had to play Spelunker...LottieTwintailshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16289107214004806688noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20740650.post-70269921961137031352011-06-03T09:39:18.252-07:002011-06-03T09:39:18.252-07:00I'm going to have to try this at some point, t...I'm going to have to try this at some point, too, Justin.
