Hell, I had to grind a lot just to explore the areas surrounding the main castle and town. <br /><br />Actually, that's where I got into trouble -- I think I wandered into the cave where the Green Dragon lives and got my butt kicked. I beat ...Yeah...the first Dragon Warrior is TOUGH. I beat it with game genie once, although I'll bet if I leveled up for hours and hours and hours, I could have beaten it without. But having one person in your "party" is really hard after being used to having four. I got this game with my subscription to Nintendo Power, and I still have it. As far as being self-explanatory, it isn't. You have to go to a cave in a swamp to the north and east of Tantengel Castle, and you beat the Green Dragon to save a princess. From there?
