I wanted to like it *so much*, but it just didn't click with me. Who knows, though, maybe if I go back to it in a year or so it'll click with me then. Still, I can't recommend it -- which is weird for me, as it takes a lot for a game to really disappoint me :|Bryan Ochallahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16256591698209804728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20740650.post-57844274635196749812012-09-30T21:01:33.091-07:002012-09-30T21:01:33.091-07:00Bryan, this might be the most heartbreaking review...Bryan, this might be the most heartbreaking review you've ever posted here. Sad to hear all of this. I guess it'll be dropping down to last on my list of things to get...unless it's WAY cheap at some point.Viewtiful_Justinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12987909785863469591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20740650.post-88821910028873804232012-09-29T09:09:27.452-07:002012-09-29T09:09:27.452-07:00Hey there, Phillip! The later ones are TERRIBLE.

Also, terrible, IMO: The violin ones. Which is too bad, as there's something about them that I like. My goodness, though, do they suck.

Thanks for letting me know that you like reading reviews here from time to time. I have to admit that I don't do them that often because almost without exception they receive the least amount of hits/pageviews and comments of all of my posts.Bryan Ochallahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16256591698209804728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20740650.post-4343528107587855402012-09-29T00:31:14.723-07:002012-09-29T00:31:14.723-07:00You know, I started this game, and I got sidetrack...You know, I started this game, and I got sidetracked by others. I really need to get back into it, even if I have little in the way of rhythm. Though, I really do not enjoy the gyro based games. AT. That s...I agree with you for the most part, Melody. That said, I think rhythm games can have a *bit* of a story. Take the Space Channel 5 games, which have just enough story to hold things together. Have you played either of the Space Channel 5 games, by the way? If not, you should try them. They're among my favorite games ever -- no kidding!Bryan Ochallahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16256591698209804728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20740650.post-84080597897810722372012-09-28T18:43:19.342-07:002012-09-28T18:43:19.342-07:00I really have to say that I think rythm-games shou...I really have to say that I think rythm-games should never have a story.
In most cases it doesn't work.
I think it's really hard to make it work good enough to take it seriously.
If it's too ridiculous I bet it would've been better without a story as a mini-game-collection (like Rythm Heaven or Theatrythm FF).
Maybe I'm wrong about this but I never played a music-game with a great deal of story and I loved them.
If there is or will ever be a good music-game with a great story and both works in perfect harmony, please show it to me!!!Melody (Lizzi)https://www.blogger.com/profile/13647395755828716415noreply@blogger.com
