It's definitely a fun little game that's similar to Bubble Bobble, Rainbow Islands and Parasol Stars without being a knockoff.

Also, thanks for the tip about the joystick you use for PC play. I really have to give joysticks another try. I've preferred d-pads since the NES days and probably haven't used a joystick since the NES Advantage! You'll need a wireless adapter for that.

It might be worth purchasing a wired controller if you don't want to sync/re-sync the same controller each time you switch between the two, though!LottieTwintailshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16289107214004806688noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20740650.post-52679364159152132052011-08-10T16:14:21.654-07:002011-08-10T16:14:21.654-07:00Xbox 360 controllers work on PCs? There's enough emulatable (I just made up that word) content playable on the Wii to last a very, very long time.

One thing I will say, though, is that Xbox 360 controllers work on PCs, and there are various adapters to get PS2 controllers and the like working on them as well. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that I can emulate *almost* everything on my Wii these days, and I much prefer using the Wii's controllers to anything I've tried on the PC.Bryan Ochallahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16256591698209804728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20740650.post-67743281964273125682011-08-10T15:48:53.740-07:002011-08-10T15:48:53.740-07:00Magic Engine is definitely befitting of its name, ...Magic Engine is definitely befitting of its name, so I'll look into the FX version!

I should really just get a PC that's capable of emulating just about everything and hook it up to my TV, but all of the computers around my house are the "not-so-powerful" type. I highly recommend paying for the PC-FX version of Magic Engine (Magic Engine FX?), by the way, as it's played pretty much every game I've thrown at it -- and beautifully at that.
