It's been a long time since we've played this little game, hasn't it? To tell you the truth, we probably wouldn't be playing it now if my last post hadn't prompted me to look up Inazuma Eleven's European and Japanese box art.
Speaking of which, the art that will grace the cover of this soccer RPG's European box (when it's released on Jan. 28) is below:
And this is the box art that accompanied the game's Japanese release in late 2008:
Which one do you prefer?
Honestly, I'm a bit torn. I'd go with the Euro art if I were forced at gunpoint to choose one over the other, mainly because I think it's more successful at getting the point across that the game is a soccer-focused RPG, but I have to admit that I also like how dynamic the Japanese art is.

I like the colors of what appears to be the main character on the European art better, but I like the other guy in the Japanese version better. I think the Euro art gets the summary right. I'd pick that one.
I'll go with the Japanese art, but I wish it had the pictures of the other characters going across the bottom of it like the European cover does.
Ah, I can see I'm not alone in being a bit torn when it comes to this one :)
Also, IvaNEC: Just wanted to tell you 'thanks!' for keeping up with your site. Honestly, I read every review as soon as it's posted. (Don't worry, I'm not stalking you. Ha!) I never get to tell you that, though, because you don't let people comment on your site! :P
Thanks, Bryan, and right back at you. I know I haven't posted many comments here lately, but I've still been checking this site and Teenage PCE Fan religiously.
Speaking of PCE, I noticed you have Rainbow Islands on your Now Playing list. I revisited that one just recently myself. Love it.
Thanks, IvaNEC! You don't have to feel bad about not posting many comments here as of late -- I understand completely.
Sorry, BTW, for the lack of updates on my PCE blog. The past few months have been crazy, so this blog has been all I can handle. Plus, I haven't bought any PCE games in a while. (I'm going to change that shortly, though.)
As for Rainbow Islands -- yes, I'm back at it again. I love that game! Also, although I'm definitely one of those people who like Parasol Stars, I fully agree with you that Rainbow Islands is the better game -- by a long shot!
