Mucha Metroid

What can you get for $10 these days? If we're going to keep our options within the realm of gaming, it can (almost) get you a copy of Elite Beat Agents for the DS, it can get you Pac-Man Championship Edition DX (via PSN or Xbox Live Arcade) ... or it can get you the following Metroid-inspired and Mucha-styled t-shirt:

Get your butt over to teefury.com tout de suite (aka pronto) if you find that last option particularly titillating, as the ninjaink-designed shirt will be pulled from the site in less than 10 hours.

The Samus image is giving me Barbarella flashbacks. I think I like it more because of that!

Oh, I think you've nailed it on the head -- it's definitely Barbarella-ish!

I'd really love to have a poster of this image, BTW :)

Hey there, immigayrant! Thanks for the comment -- and for the Easter wishes :)

Hmmm, I probably would have written about Easter games, but I'm not sure I know of any -- outside of maybe the Easter celebrations in Animal Crossing. Do you know of any?

I'll check out your blog post shortly -- sounds fun :) And happy Easter to you, too!

Errr...

Do you write reviews for iPhone games?

I think iPhone has a bright future as a game platform.

Most people would find it convenient not having to carry an extra handheld, so games on smart-phones would dominate.

iPhones apps are updated regularly and the games comes in festive season versions too. And they only cost like $2 to $4 to download!!!

Cheers,

Grant

I would review them, Grant, but I don't have an iPhone!

I agree that iPhone games have a bright future, but I don't think they're going to cause handheld gaming systems to go away (at least not anytime soon). Cheap downloadable games are nice, but you're never going to see a Dragon Quest or a Final Fantasy or a Super Mario Bros. type of game on such download services, and I think that would have to happen in order for phones to make handheld gaming devices obsolete.

Anyway, are there any particular Easter-themed downloadable games that you've been enjoying?

Err... none in particular. I don't have handheld game device or a box console.

I love pokemon games, I'd looooove to see it released on iPhone. Damn! I'd play it everytime I have a break. Hehehe...

And you're right. Most iPhone games aren't that deep. I haven't downloaded any Easter-themed games to my iPhone.
