So, the copy of Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley I chatted about yesterday isn't the only game-related present I received this holiday season. I also got the following 3DS case from my sneaky sister-in-law.
I'm calling her sneaky, by the way, because she figured out I wanted it by reading the "All I want for Christmas is..." post I published a few weeks back. (I honestly didn't realize until Wednesday that she occasionally checks out my blog.)
Anyway, this Kirby-themed case is pretty sweet, don't you think? And not only is its exterior the definition of adorable, but its interior is nicely cushioned and includes a couple of pockets for DS or 3DS carts.
Even better than either of those attributes, though, is that it perfectly complements my pink-and-white 3DS XL system--as should be evident for all to see in the photo below.
Now I just have to find a case or pouch that can be used to protect and carry my gold Pokémon Center 3DS LL. I've been considering this cute Monster Hunter airu one for ages now. What do you think?
Also, what kind of gaming-related gifts did all of you get this holiday season? Spill the beans in the comments section below--if you're willing to share, I mean.

I'm so jealous! I have a pink Moomin bag for mine, it's not for a 3DS XL but it fits just perfect into it. I couldn't get the PQ case, over here the preorder was £70, unreal.
Oh, that pink Moomin sounds adorable, Triseratops! You don't happen to have any photos of it, do you?
I don't remember what the PQ case you mentioned here looks like, to tell you the truth, but even if it's awesome, I can't imagine it's worth £70 :|
So jealous you ended up with this adorable Kirby case before me. :P
Didn't you order one of these, too, Adam, or was that the hard, wooden-look Kirby case I'm thinking of? (Or am I just imagining things again?) At any rate, these are pretty cheap and can be found all over the place right now, so you could always nab one for yourself this weekend ;)
Didn't order one in the end, what with the new 3DS announcement which could happen at any time. Seeing the adorable pictures you've taken has changed my mind though. :)
Oh, I can understand that, Adam. This case/pouch should hold any and all 3DS systems, though, so at least you'd be safe if you bought one of these (as opposed to the plastic/wooden cover).
More like Cucucu(te) Friends am I right?
Aw I absolutely love the design on this one! And I also love that your sister-in-law checks out your blog. How sweet ;)
That sounds about right to me, Sam! :)
Yeah, it's very sweet. And, yes, the design is lovely, isn't it? I'd really like to get this to go along with it, but I'm kind of worried it would scratch the surface of my 3DS: http://www.play-asia.com/3ds-ll-character-hard-cover-kirby-taikoushin-paOS-13-49-en-70-7yhn.html
That's cute too! I honestly wouldn't worry *too* much about it scratching your 3DS, those things are generally pretty good quality (the Japanese ones, anyway!). Putting it on would probably be a pain, though!
Yeah, you're probably right in both regards. Anyway, I ended up buying something else that I think is just as cute AND won't damage my 3DS :)
Heya!! Hope you are doing well!! Sorry it's been so long since I commented! =[ Love this case!! Looks like we are Pupupu friends twins now! lol
Hey there, Marty! No worries, especially since I know you were gone for a while. Are you back home again--for good, I mean? Also, do you have this case, too? If so, awesome!
Ya! I was on the hunt for it since arriving in Japan and snagged it a few months ago! ^^ I'm back home for the winter break but then I'm heading back to Japan at the end of January for another few months!
I'm gonna try to update Gaymer Quest a bunch this week and hopefully get back on track with it! lol
Oh, that's great to hear--both that you snagged one of these cases, too, and also that you're back home for a bit! Will your next stint in Japan be your last (for the time being, I mean), or will you have to go back and forth for some time to come?
Yay! I've been wondering--and hoping :)
Yeah, this semester hit me like a ton of bricks! D: I'll have more free time hopefully next semester so I'll try to update more!
Although I--and others, too, I'm sure--would love more updates from you, I also understand not being able to provide them because of school, etc.!
