Actually, I would have included the first three if I had thought of it--as any of them would be a worthwhile replacement for Utada, who I adore but who really isn't a gay icon.
I thought of including Lady Gaga but decided against it because without the ability to give her a big schnoz she'd look just like Madonna--and that ain't right.

My main character is a plucky boy with spiky red hair named Trigg, after Chrono Trigger. The rest of my party, though? Not as interesting, sadly.

Although I'd like to make a party that consists of Judy, Babs, Cher and Madonna next time around, I think I'll go with my old standbys -- i.e. characters pulled from old Final Fantasy games.
A party consisting of Celes (FF6), Faris (FF5), Lenna (FF5) and Rydia (FF4) sounds nice right about now...
I'd take Chrono (Chrono Trigger), Will (Illusion of Gaia), Terra (FF6), and Locke (FF6). It makes me want to start over...
Nah, don't start over. Save that team/party for your second playthrough -- because you *know* there's going to be one :)
True story. I found my first treasure map the other day. I went to the grotto (which is a funny thing for me to type, since the porn store in my town is called The Paperback Grotto, and everyone just refers to it as "The Grotto") and fought my way to the boss, something I really enjoyed doing, because the map filled out as I explored. Then I got my ass stomped. Dang.
I just had the same experience, Justin. Making my way to the boss was easy, but he killed me in just a few turns. Ugh.
