Mark my words: The day I finally get my hands on a PS3 also will be the day I finally get my hands on a copy of Sega's tactical RPG, Valkyria Chronicles.
In the meantime, I'll make do with that game's PSP sequel (titled, amazingly enough, Valkyria Chronicles II)--or, rather, the demo of that game's PSP sequel, which hit the PlayStation Store earlier this week.
I've only played it for a few minutes, but I definitely like what I've seen so far. Will it prompt me to plop down $40 (the game's MSRP) for the full thing when it hits store shelves on Aug. 31? Let me get back to you on that, OK?

You need a ps3 man. Not for just that game either. And with Move comming out and Sonys goal to keep casual and hardcore happy... You can't go wrong
Oh, believe me -- I *know* I need a PS3. I just don't have the funds at the moment.
Also, I want many more games than just Valkyria, but I'd be lying if I said I wanted them any more than I want that game.
You might be surprised to hear that I'm not all that interested in Move, though. That may change if Sony or some third party comes out with a killer app, but it won't bother me all that much if they don't. I have a hard enough time buying all the games I want anyway :)
Anyway, thanks for the comment, whoever you are!
BTW, one more thing about my experience thus far with Valkyria II: it's reminding me how much I *hate* the PSP's analog "nub." Unfortunately, playing this game with the d-pad isn't really an option either...
Not to mention the MOVE is an unimaginative ripoff of Wii's controller. Sure, it may be a slight advancement, but what's innovative about the way they're marketing it and how they're releasing it? Sports game packaged? LAME. Try something new and hip.
