The Gay Gamer x Tiny Cartridge, take three

The third of the four posts I wrote for the guys at Tiny Cartridge was published this morning.

I would have mentioned it earlier, but there was a typo in said post (my fault, not theirs) until a little while ago and I didn't want to link to it until it was corrected.

Anyway, the focus of this particular post--check it out here, if you're at all interested in such things--is one of Filip Johannes Felberg's most recent LEGO Pokémon creations: A beautifully rendered Bulbasaur.

(I decided to include the photo of Felberg's Farfetch'd, right, in this post so as not to spoil the surprise that awaits at tinycartridge.com.)

It's not often that you see a level of tilt in lego blocks. I wonder if the bulb is connected to the rest of it, or if it's just set on top and tilted.

Glad you liked it, Sora! Justin: I didn't even think of the tilt when I first looked at this creation! I would guess it's either set on top or some sort of hinge is involved...

Haha, that's awesome! The best use of Lego for a long time :P

This guy's creations are pretty cool, aren't they, Simon? After he gets Pokemon out of his system, I think he should try making 3D models of the SMB characters :)

Interesting post there. I would also like to see him make some SMB lego stuff! Or maybe some really obscure game's characters that nobody has ever heard of. Seems Pokemon and SMB always get the best of these art projects...

I like your idea, Sean -- seeing this treatment applied to characters from obscure or lesser-known games would be great!

Lol out of all the Lego pokemon this is definetly one of my favorites.

Ha ha! Me, too, Alex :) I really think this one was well done.

Yeah I also checked out the bulbasaur one, and I must say they are both amazing
