I may have missed out on a pink 3DS, but I'll be damned if I miss out on one of these

The "one of these" alluded to in the header above, by the way, is the rather posh (and completely fabulous) Princess Peach 3DS case seen below.

Of course, even if I do somehow manage to acquire one of these precious, available-only-in-Japan-at-the-moment cases, I'd more than likely be too much of a chicken to leave the house with it.

Those of you who are less cowardly than I am should know that these must-have, MSY-made accessories will hit the streets of the aforementioned island nation on March 1 carrying a price tag of ¥1,800.

um lol no

I was surprised to find my old DSi case works perfectly for my 3DS :)

You don't want one of these, diaglyph. Don't worry, I understand :) Truthfully, I don't really want one either, although I do appreciate it. As for a DSI case working for your 3DS, that makes sense, since aren't they fairly similar in size??

Yea I was surprised as I started looking for cases etc for the 3DS. I even got that hard polycarbonate plastic case and use it for a while, but didn't like how it made it bulkier.
I then noticed a DSi case lying around and thought why not. The 3DS fits nicely and fairly snugly into the DSi case (its one of those old 3rd Earth cases, with a zipper around the edge, I think it came from a pack like this http://www.aussiedirectdeals.com.au/p/ds_lite_17_in_1_cobalt_blue_accessory_pack).

Oh, that's great to know, diaglyph! I've never had a case for my DS or 3DS, for some strange reason. I do have a protective sleeve for my 3DS, though, which works well enough. It makes pushing the buttons (esp. the shoulder buttons) harder than usual, but that's OK. Anyway, maybe I'll check out the 3rd Earth cases at some point. Thanks for letting me know about them :)

A. Dorable. I wouldn't leave the house with it, either...but...SO CUTE.

Yeah, it's definitely adorable. I'd love to see the looks on some peoples' faces if I *did* take it out of the house, BTW :)

My future mother-in-law absolutely insists I get this for her, since she's no good at import sites yet she LOVES Peach. I think I'll win a million brownie points for it!

I'd love to see Daisy/Rosalina versions, too! I'm surprised we haven't seen this kind of design before, honestly.

Well, then get it for her, Kamiwoo! Especially if it means you'll get brownie points :)

I like the idea of Daisy/Rosalina versions, too, but the Peach one is soooooo iconic, don't you think?

Most definitely, Byran! Very iconic, and most importantly, very pink!

As soon as I see it up for order online, I'm snagging it!

That's great, Kamiwoo! I'll try to let you know if I see it on line anywhere :)
