I may be a bit sick of zombie games, but ...

... I'd still buy Halfbrick Studios' Age of Zombies, which hits the PlayStation Store on Feb. 25 (for $4.99)--if I had a PSP (or a PS3).

I think that's due to the fact that the undead on display in the following trailer are so darn cute.

It doesn't hurt that the game gives off a Robotron-meets-Zombies Ate My Neighbors kinda vibe, as joystiq.com's David Hinkle recently put it.

Oh, well, I'll just add Age of Zombies to my ever-growing PSP wish list...

That's an interesting mashup.

Funny you should mention being sick of zombies. I had this dream last night that the new Zelda game came out and Link was some sort of undead creature. He had to collect hearts and let his health be drained by these creepy nightwalker bug things, and it would make people's wishes come true. So he was going around getting drained so the townsfolk could be happy. So odd...

That idea actually sounds kind of cool--in some weird, subversive way. It would kind of be an anti-Zelda, don't you think? Maybe you should send it to Miyamoto :)

I think it would be sweet! Really dark but not FRANTIC like Majora's Mask.

Definitely. I have to admit it, but I just couldn't deal with the frantic-ness of Majora's Mask back in the day. Maybe I'll have to give it another go via the VC version soon...
