I don't know about you, but I think the only way the mock GameBoy Color, made out of LEGO blocks, seen in the photo below (it's on the left) could be any more impressive would be if its screen displayed an overly pixelated approximation of one of the portable system's most popular games, like Super Mario Land or Tetris.
Of course, it's possible (perhaps even likely) that attempting such a thing would have ruined the illusion, isn't it?

That's astoundingly close to the real thing.
Isn't it? I'm amazed at what some of these, er, LEGO artists can do...
Wow thats pretty neat, I wonder how much time it took to replicate.
I would guess it took some time, John, but I can't say that with any authority! :)
That really is quite good, it took me a couple seconds to figure out which was the real one. Even the jack for the earphones and battery pack (think that is what they are) are present. Amazing.
If the bottom of the screen of the fake one wasn't a bit wonky, I wouldn't have know which one was which either, Sean! Really awesome work regardless, IMO.
I remember when I had one of these... lol my brother looked at the picture and asked and thought the difference was photoshopped.
Ha! Well, that means the guy/gal who made the LEGO GameBoy did a pretty good job, right? :)
Lol a gameboy color lego! These were all the rage when I got one.
The good old days.
Hey there, Timmy! Are you talking about the GameBoy Color or the LEGOs? Just kidding -- I think I know which one you were talking about ;)
