The pixelated woman of Robin Williams' dreams

I'm sure you've already heard that actor Robin Williams named his daughter after the titular heroine of The Legend of Zelda series. (If not, well, I guess you know it now!)

The illustration below--produced by Berlin-based artist, Barto (aka bartotainment)--appears to have been inspired by that fact.

For more examples of Barto's work, check out his Flickr photostream.

What an odd subject to paint...I love Robin Williams more now that I know he's such a Zelda fan (which I didn't know until this E3)!

Yes, it's definitely odd, isn't it? The Robin part of the illustration actually kind of creeps me out. I wonder if it would be better if he were pixelated, too?

I think so.

Thanks, Justin :) Who knows, maybe Barto will read this and then a try a version like that.
