Earth Seeker has some seriously sexy box art

My original headline for this post, by the way, was: "Earth Seeker, the Wii RPG that's being made by the guy who produced the first Monster Hunter game and that will never see the light of day outside of Japan, has some sexy box art." In the end, though, I decided that was a bit too wordy and went with the shorter-and-sweeter version seen above.

With all of that out of the way, let's look at this Crafts & Meister-developed, Kadokawa-published game's supposedly sexy box art, shall we?

If I knew Japanese I'd totally take one for the team and buy a copy of the game (which hit store shelves in Japan on June 23), but since I don't I'm just going to grouse about the fact that it's unlikely to be released in a language that I understand.

For more information on this intriguing game, check out any of these articles at andriasang.com or this discussion thread at NeoGAF.com.

Maybe if we put all our grumbling together, we can shake some sense into NOA and get them to take action on our behalf...although...look how far that got us earlier this week.

Seeing yet another awesome-looking Wii game makes me sad, because yeah, doubtful we'll ever get it at this rate!

... still, sexy box art to be sure. I'd never heard of this game until now. Time for some research. After I'm done staring at the box.

Justin: I definitely wouldn't expect NOA to release this game in the States. More like Atlus or Xseed, but considering the game didn't sell at all well in Japan during its first week, I kind of doubt anyone is going to want to bring it over. Oh, well, onward and upward, as they say!

I don't know a ton about the game either, Kamiwoo, to be honest. Actually, as far as I can tell, calling it an RPG may be a bit of a stretch. I'm not sure how else to describe it, though. It definitely looks a lot like Phantasy Star Online, though, at least graphically. Which is the main reason I'm interested in it...
